Community Supporting our Schools
The Back to School Bash was held this last weekend, sponsored by the TR Steering Committee. Thunder Ridge High School athletes and parents helped provide and serve a meal in efforts to raise funds for TR schools. Each fall, the Committee awards funds to each school/building that will aid in the benefit of the student body. They also support various student events throughout the school year. Your donations are greatly appreciated and go to supporting our youth.

Legion this Friday Night
This week at the Kensington American Legion our special will be chicken fried steak, with homemade mashed potatoes, Texas toast, and a dessert. We will have our regular menu items as well and our kitchen is open from 6-8. You can call 785-476-3204 to have your order ready for pick up. Hope to see you Friday evening!
Grauerholz Reunion
The Henry Grauerholz reunion will be held again this year on Sunday, September 3, at 12:30p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church parish hall.

Labor Day Reunion at Claudell
The St. Francis Church in Claudell will have the annual/semi- annual reunion on Labor Day. It will be Sunday, September 3, at 4:00p.m. at the church followed by a potluck at Gaylord Community Center. Fr. Daryl Olmstead has agreed to be the celebrant. Hope you can come and spread the word to former parishioners.
