Thanksgiving Dinner at the American Legion Join us at the American Legion in Kensington for our annual, community Thanksgiving Dinner this Thursday, November 22nd. Please bring a salad or dessert, also free will donations are appreciated. Turkey and ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, plus sides and tableware will be provided. Veterans Day Celebration in Kensington Make plans to attend the annual Veterans Day Celebration in Kensington on Saturday, November 11th. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the WWI armistice, or truce agreement to cease fighting. There will be anniversary pens for sale. Starting at 9:00am, visit the Pie Stand at the Vo-Ag building hosted by the ladies of the American Legion Auxiliary. The ladies will also have poppies and raffle tickets for sale.
