Invitation for Community Trunk-or-Treat EventDear Business/Organization/Church:The Kensington Community/School Library would like to host a Trunk-or-Treat again this year. We tried this once before and hope to build on this event to make it bigger and better.We would like to invite you to join us in this community centered event. The more, the ‘spookier’! We would love to have you decorate a “trunk” and enjoy the evening of Trick-or-Treaters with us! Commodities are Monday, October 24. Join us for coffee every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 9:30am. Cards and games are played every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm, and Pitch each Thursday at 7:00pm. We are planning to have a movie on the first Monday of each month. Also, Angel Care will be at the Center the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30am. They do Blood Pressure checks and share some information with us. Lunch is served daily, Monday through Friday, so please call ahead for reservations. Stop by and pick up a menu and activity calendar.Friday Night @ the Legion This week at the Kensington American Legion we will have a special of chili or green bean dumpling soup with ham and cheese sliders and a dessert. We will have our regular menu items as well and our kitchen is open from 6-8pm. You can call 785-476-3204 to place your orders and we will have them ready to pick up.
