KCS Holiday Hours

Tuesday, July 4th, the Kensington Community Store will be open. Limited hours of 9am to 4pm provided for staff to enjoy the evening.

KAYS to Host Blood Drive

Please sign up to donate at our KAY blood drive on July 7, 2023. Call or message Robin Billings, register online, or call 1-800-RED-CROSS to make an appointment. The drive will be held at the St. John Lutheran Church Parish Hall (north church) from 9am-3pm.

American Legion

This week at the Kensington American Legion we will feature our shorthorn and longhorn meals. They will come with a dessert and are easy to make and take to the fields during harvest. Call 785-476-3204 for us to fix your order to go and we will have it ready. We wish everyone a safe harvest and a blessed holiday.

We will be closed Monday, July 3rd, for wings and fries, but will be open the 7th for our regular Friday night supper.

Just a reminder that July 15th Wreaths Across America will be hosting a motorcycle/car fun run at the Kensington American Legion. Kim will be serving lunch for a free will donation and there will be lots of silent auction and raffle drawings to participate in to help the fundraiser. Please be watching for more details.

Condolences

Sympathy and prayers for the family, friends, and students of Denise Heineken Miller. She passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at the age of 56.. The family wishes for donations to be made in her memory to the Kensington Home Charitable Foundation, as it was a cause close to Denise’s heart.
