Never too Young to make a Difference!

Over the weekend, a young family in Kensington made it their mission to make a difference. Tiffany Glaze and her children stepped up to show love and support for their beloved babysitter, Gracie Rice, and her family after the unexpected passing of Gracie’s mother, Angel. Riley (12), Hayley (10), Annamarie (5), McKenzie (3) and baby Wesley (6.5 months) with help from mom and dad, put on a Rice Family Fundraiser Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All donations collected to be given to Gracie’s family during this difficult time. Kensington is fortunate to have this generous and giving little family. Thank you David, Tiffany and Glaze children for this beautiful act of kindness.

Blood Drive Tribute On Wednesday, July 6, the TRHS KAY organization hosted a blood drive in Kensington. This drive was dedicated to Angel Rice, who had passed away suddenly on Friday, July 1st. Angel worked for the American Red Cross Blood Services in the Central Plains Region for the past year and a half as a Tech II in collections. Angel loved her job and took great pride and joy in being able to help save numerous lives with each blood drive. This Drive held on July 6 needed 25 units to meet the goal and had 27 units donated in loving memory of Angel Grace Rice.
