Spring Salad Supper was Held

On April 20, 2022 the 1st St. John’s Lutheran Church fellowship hall was the site for the annual Spring Salad Supper. This year it was hosted by the Home On The Range unit. Their guests were the K-Town Kates unit and former Middle Decar unit members and other guests.

The theme was “Remember When…” The table centerpiece decorations depicted prior years’ themes. Mary Arment welcomed everyone, then led in the reading of the Club Collect. All members and guests were introduced prior to enjoying the meal of a wide variety of salads.

Mary Arment read a reading about Remembering When from the 50’s and 60’s. Roger and Gwen Cooper from Alton were introduced by Linda Warner as our entertainment. Roger sang some golden oldies and told stories from his past. Gwen played the saxophone and gave testimony. Thirty-two people enjoyed the evening.
