A celebration of life for Robert "boB" G. Sinclair is scheduled for this Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11:00am beginning inside with graveside service to follow.

Robert G. Sinclair, known as boB (spelled backwards) left this earth to be with Jesus on July 19, 2026, in Nampa, Idaho. boB was born on November 5,1953 in Amarillo, Texas to William G. Sinclair and Marilyn J. Hagstrom.
He graduated in 1972 from Traverse City, Michigan. He served in the USAir Force from September 1972 to October 1975. boB met Debra in 1978 in Valparaiso, Indiana where they married on May 1 ,1982. boB worked in food management and drove a delivery truck before he was called into ministry – a call he didn't answer until he encountered Jesus at the age of 40 at a "Walk to Emmaus" retreat. In 2004 he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Northwest College, and in December 2009, a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary. His first call was at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Castle Rock, Washington, where he served for almost nine years, followed by five years at St. John Lutheran Church in Athol, Kansas. -Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rentschler Family Mortuaries -Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary - Smith Center on Aug. 23, 2026.
