KCS Soup Luncheon Fundraiser

Please plan to attend the KCS Soup Luncheon Fundraiser THIS Sunday, October 25, from 11am-1pm at the American Legion in Kensington. Accepting free will donations for the meal. All monetary donations will go towards the HOME Foundation matching grant opportunity. Show your support for KCS and consider donating!  

Kensington Community TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Join us for TRUNK OR TREAT! Local businesses, organizations, or country-living individuals are invited to participate! Come park at the Kensington Community/School Library, decorate a trunk, and hand out treats! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, from 4:00-6:00 PM. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

TR elementary students went to visit the fire station for Fire Safety Month. Fire Chief Keith Wangerin and volunteer firefighter Randy Vales talked to the students about fire safety and what to do in case of a fire.

Mon. 26- MS BB practice starts; 6:30pm KAY Yearbook signing, Rock-Paper-Scissors Contest

Thur. 29- HS FB Week 9 Brack; ES & MS Halloween Parade/Parties in afternoon

Fri. 30- HS VB State

Sat. 31- HS XC State TBA; HS VB State; Community Trunk-or-Treat @ Kensington Community/School Library –4-6pm

Helping Hands, Giving Hearts

St. John Lutheran Sunday school packed school kits for Lutheran World Relief. They collect and buy school items and then fill bags that are sewn by the ladies of the church. This year they filled 181 bags.

Sawyer Levin, Jenna Molzahn, and Mason Dettmer fill bags.

Hayden Dettmer helps Jackson Bienhoff fill a school kit bag. 

American Legion in Kensington

Open and serving from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Saturday nights for the time being. Call in those to-go orders at 476-3204. We will NOT be serving on Saturdays Nov. 7 or 14.
