Thunder Ridge KAYS attended their unit conference last Thursday, Feb. 1. It was held at Pike Valley High School. Fourteen members attended with their sponsor, Robin Billings. It was a great spirit booster to finish the year strong. The club was also recognized for their “Be the Spark” project, the frisbee disk golf course in Agra last school year. KAYS Mr. TR Pageant
Please plan on attending the first annual Mr. TR pageant. It will be held Thursday, February 15, at 7:30 PM, in the high school gym. We have several competing for the title. There are three categories: dress (yes, actual dresses), talent, and interview questions. It is sure to be a very entertaining night! Admission is $5 each for adults and $2 for elementary and middle school students. Proceeds will be used for prize money and KAY leadership camp.

Legion Friday Night
This week at the Kensington American Legion bring your sweetheart or come with a friend because our special feature will be our chicken fried steak meal and our soup will be chicken noodle. With these meals we will have a valentine's dessert. Our kitchen is open from 6-8pm and you can call 785-476-3204 to have your order ready for pick up. Hope to see you Friday evening!
You’re invited to Join us!
The United Church in Kensington will host a Super Bowl game gathering this Sunday, February 11, at 5PM in the church basement. Bring finger food snacks and join the fellowship. We will also hold Ash Wednesday service on February 14 at 7PM and a Lent Bible Study starting Feb. 18 at 5PM in the church basement with a potluck each week.
Condolences
Sympathy and prayers for the family and friends of Aubrey (Abby Lehmann) Neussendorfer. Abby passed on January 30, 2024 in the Smith County Memorial Hospital, Smith Center, KS, at the age of 43.
