Alumni Banquet

The Annual KHS & TRHS Alumni Banquet is THIS Saturday, May 24. Reminder: Banquet price is $25 per person and payment can be made at the door if you did not mail it in. Tour the High School halls from 4-5:30pm before heading over to the American Legion hall for social hour starting at 5:30pm. Banquet begins at 6:30pm. Honor Class pictures will be taken after the banquet. The Class of 2005 is looking forward to seeing you!

VBS Next Week!

We would love for your children to join us for “Wonder Junction” Kensington Community VBS. Sessions are held May 27-May 30, 2025 from 9:00am to 11:30am. Pre-K to Kindergarten ages attend at First St. John’s (must be potty trained); 1st-3rd ages attend at United Church; 4th-6th attend at the St. John Lutheran (North church). Come and marvel at Jesus, Live for HIS Glory! Snacks provided and a special program is held Friday morning, 11:00am at the United Church for family and friends to attend.

Summer Kickoff!!!

Join us in Kensington for Summer Kickoff on Saturday, June 7. From 3:30-6:00pm is Family Free Swim at the Kensington Pool. From 5-8pm checkout the Car Cruise; sit and watch or “drag main” with us! BBQ Parfaits will be sold inside the legion, sit and eat or head outside to enjoy as the cars go by. Starting at 8:00pm will be Trivia Mania, found in the legion hall. Register at the door for $5/person. Teams of up to 6 people allowed. Concessions will be available. Come join the fun, grab some food, test your smarts -you might even win a prize! Kensington is the place to be, Saturday, June 7th.

Get on the Garage Sales Map!

It’s time to start spring cleaning!  City-wide garage sales are June 14th. Turn those treasures into moolah! Sign up to have your garage/yard sale shown on the maps that will be available for the shoppers thanks to the Commercial Club. Must sign up by June 6! United Women’s Salad Supper

Please plan to join us for a Women’s Salad Supper Wednesday evening, June 18, 2025 at 6:00 pm. Located at the United Church of Kensington. Be Restored & Commissioned is the theme. Please bring a salad and a guest if you wish.

Summer Reading started Tuesday, May 20. The 2025 theme is “Color Our World!” We skip next week for kids to attend VBS and we will meet again on *Thursday, June 5th. Please note: we meet each Tuesday June 10-July 1.
