TR KAYS helped host the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8.

Annual Mother/KAY Banquet
The 2023 Thunder Ridge High School Mother KAY Banquet was held on the evening of Monday, April 3, in the high school gymnasium. The theme this year was “Service with Purpose” with gold and black colored decorations. The social hour began at 6:30pm with the banquet starting at 7:00.
KAY President, Sydni Rust welcomed everyone and board member, Toree Slavik, blessed the meal. The scrumptious dinner was prepared by Gene’s Heartland Foods from Smith Center. The menu consisted of lettuce salad, pulled pork, party potatoes, Brookville corn and a dinner roll. Cheesecake was for dessert. The slideshow, created by Art and Technology Director, Trinity Coomes, highlighted the numerous events and activities the club participated in throughout the school year. Thunder Ridge sophomore and KAY member, MacKenna Conaway provided the entertainment by singing three musical pieces.
Following the entertainment, Mrs. Billings recognized the high point earners: Dylan Bice, Trinity Coomes, Alexis Holling, Sydni Rust, Toree Slavik, Kaleb Wagenblast, Mason Baker, Starla Cochrun, Giana Hoersdig, Kamryn Rietzke, LyNece Stokesbury, Jenna Barnes, Jennifer Galicia and Allison Rhea.
Senior KAY members attending were recognized by Mrs. Boden. They were Dalton Bice, Dylan Bice, Trinity Coomes, JaShawn Dodds, Alexis Holling, Jace Randall, Sydni Rust, Toree Slavik and Kaleb Wagenblast.
The annual “fashion show” followed with Mrs. Billings emceeing. The evening concluded with the Vice President Kamryn Rietzke leading the KAY Pledge. Thirty-six KAY members attended, along with sixty guests. The KAY sponsors are Mrs. Kathi Boden and Mrs. Robin Billings.
Spring Program Tailgate
The Thunder Ridge Spring Music Program for K-3/High School is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, at 7:00pm in the high school gym. A tailgate supper will be served from 5-6:30pm before the program in the elementary lunchroom. For a free will donation you will receive a locker sandwich, beans, chips and cookies. So come eat before the K-3/HS Spring Music Program and support our Thunder Ridge Music! Sponsored by the TR Music Booster Club.
Blood Drive @ TRHS
