Please call us for take out orders at 785-476-3204. If you are having a large group of friends or family and want to make reservations just call us. Hope to see you Friday night!
If you are looking for a place to have a birthday party, anniversary party, family gathering, or just a friend's get together, we would love to have you at the legion. Our "bar" side can seat 90 comfortably and is 'family friendly'. We have the big hall for larger crowds. We can customize the event by doing the cooking or helping set things up for catering or even pot lucks. TRHS KAYS ATTEND 2018 KAY UNIT CONFERENCE
Eleven members of the Thunder Ridge High School KAY Club recently attended a KAY Unit Conference on Monday, February 5 at Pike Valley High School in Scandia. Accompanying the group was their co-sponsor, Kathi Boden.
KAY (Kansas Association for Youth) Unit Conferences bring neighboring KAY clubs together in a non-competitive environment, providing the opportunity to share service projects and program ideas. The theme for the unit conferences are “Set Sail,…Lead-Yer-Ship.” The Unit Conference is designed to focus on club leadership at the local level in addition to developing teamwork as everyone participates in a conference service project. Conference delegates return to their clubs refreshed and focused to end the school year by finishing all planned projects and functions.
The Kansas Association for Youth is a character-building, leadership program directed by the Kansas State High School Activities Association. This nationally acclaimed organization provides students an opportunity to learn to assume their citizenship responsibilities and to enrich their personalities through well-organized programs. These programs emphasis four areas of service: school, community, nation and world.
Throughout the 2017-2018 school year, the Thunder Ridge High School KAYS have been actively involved in the following service projects: Breast Cancer Awareness Night, sponsored the Soup and Socks Drive with Angels Care Home Health, Block the Doors Food Pantry Drive, made door decorations for the Nursing Home, sent a donation to Heifer International, and have hosted two American Red Cross Blood Drives.

Weekly Inspiration
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. - Bernard M. Baruch
Why do we close our eyes when we pray, cry, kiss, dream? Because the most beautiful things in life are not seen but felt only by the heart.
Sometimes life doesn't give you something you want, not because you don't deserve it, but because you deserve more.
