American Legion
Friday Night Special, March 2nd:
For the Friday night special at the Kensington American legion this week, we will be having ham loaf, southern sweet potatoes, and green bean casserole. Our soup will be vegetable beef and for dessert we'll have warm bread pudding with caramel sauce. For our Lent Special we are offering our beer battered pub style fish and fries. We will have our regular menu items as well, serving from 6-8:30pm. Call us if you have a large crowd and we will reserve a space for you. Please call us if you would like for us to get a take out order for you at 785.476.3204. Hope to see you on Friday!
If you are looking for a place to have a birthday party, anniversary party, family gathering, or just a friend's get together, we would love to have you at the legion. Our "bar" side can seat 90 comfortably and is 'family friendly'. We have the big hall for larger crowds. We can customize the event by doing the cooking or helping set things up for catering or even pot lucks. Feel free to call Steve Rice at 785-476-6239 or Kim Terrell at 785-656-2276 for more information.

Weekly Inspiration
Faith does not mean trusting God to stop the storm, but trusting him to strengthen us as we walk through the storm.
Locks are never manufactured without a key. Similarly GOD never gives problems without SOLUTIONS. Only we need to have patience to unlock them.
God's plan is always the best. Sometimes the process is painful and hard. But don't forget that when God is silent, He is doing something good for you.
