Lions Club Member Recognized for 60 Years
Roy Wangerin was presented the Milestone Chevron Award, from Lions Club International, by president Joan Nech. This award is aptly named because the chevron symbol is typically used in reference to a badge or insignia to indicate rank or length of service. Roy has been a member of Kensington Lions Club for 60 years.
Lions Clubs International recognizes the anniversaries of members like Roy because it reminds members of the milestones in their lives. Roy's ripple effect of service has touched the lives of many in our community and deserves to be celebrated.

Christmas Program 2018
Thunder Ridge K-3 and High school held their annual Christmas program Tuesday evening, December 11, under the instruction of new music teacher Annie Adams. Special guests Kristi Reneberg and Dave Hutson helped to accompany certain songs and the audience was involved too in singing Silent Night. The K-3rd grades shared special vocal numbers, some incorporating hand instruments to show how the students have been learning rhythm and beat. Following the K-3rd, the High School choir and band performed. It was a wonderful evening of beautiful music and Christmas spirit.
