The Busy Bees 4-H club held their annual Christmas party and business meeting on Sunday, December 9. Twenty members, plus parents and siblings, were in attendance. A community service project chosen by the club was to provide Christmas presents for the elderly residents of the SunPorch of Smith County nursing home. The club members each shopped for and personally wrapped presents for 24 residents. Host families for the Christmas Party were Rust’s and Meat’s. Walking tacos and various potluck sides were enjoyed by all club members and parents who came.
