Thrivent Dollars At Work Again
The St. John Lutheran Sunday school kids used Thrivent Action Dollars to purchase items for care packages to be given to people in shelters. This project will work hand in hand with the sleeping mats for the homeless, a project the kids first started a year and a half ago. For the past year, mats have been made by an adult group that meets at the church once a month. 48 mats have been delivered this past year. Thrivent dollars were also used to purchase the crocheting needles and cutting mats. The kids wanted to continue helping the homeless and were excited to pack the care packages.
