Kensington Lions

March 7, the Kensington lions held their monthly meeting. Alan Bates spoke to the club on the topic of Ag. Lions Club Band Camp was discussed and it was agreed to pay for the registration and some travel expenses of kids who want to attend.

The club also agreed to purchase buzzers for the MS quiz bowl team, purchase new table cloths and silverware for the senior center, and donate money to the legion to go towards the purchase of their HVAC system.

The club hopes to do a hwy cleanup in April with the help of the KAY club. Members of lions also will help distribute commodities on March 28.

Kensington Library

Stop in during the month of March to see the wonderful quilts display. Local ladies and the Prairie Treasures Quilt Guild have provided a beautiful assortment of colorful quilts for us to have on display throughout the month of March, which happens to be National Quilting Month. A few of the TR KAYS helped to hang these lovey quilts around the library: Kristal Rice, JaCea Reese and Mariana Escobar.
