St. John Lutheran helps VCP
St. John Lutheran church has once again chosen the Veterans Community Project as their mission project. This is a wonderful project because it helps veterans transition back into a successful life after their service in the military. They build tiny houses which provide temporary, transitional housing, and also offer numerous other services to all veterans to help them regain housing, jobs, and independence.
The St. John Sunday school classes hosted a luncheon on February 27, to raise money and kick off the church’s fundraising. It was very well attended. Many thanks to all who helped, attended, and donated money.

We all have good days, bad days, busy days, tired days, epic days, sad days, overwhelming days... but no matter what kind of day you are having, just show up. Things don’t have to be perfect. Just be present. Then, reach for better feeling thoughts. See the good. Feel gratitude. It’s all about focus.
