Sub-State Semi Finals at Osborne
VOUCHER INFORMATION FOR SUB STATE SEMI FINALS AND FINALS AT OSBORNE. ALL SPECTATORS MUST PRESENT VOUCHERS TO BE ADMITTED. TICKET PRICE OF $7 WILL BE PAID AT THE DOOR.
Lady Longhorns scheduled to play THURSDAY, March 4th, Game time 5:30pm. Spectators will be admitted at 4:45. Spectator seating is in the maroon section. Spectators who are not members of the same household are to distance themselves from others. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Vouchers are available by contacting the HS Office Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This can be done by telephone, email, or in person. Students may pick up tickets for their family or for themselves.
LIMITS—Player families may use a maximum of 6 vouchers for each player. Please request only the actual number of vouchers that will be used. Once the family vouchers are filled, remaining vouchers will be offered to anyone in the district that would like to attend the game. Again, this number will be limited, please call in or email the high school office to be put on the list. These vouchers will be first come, first served.
Youth Basketball
TR boys and girls basketball wrapped up a short and sweet season on Saturday, February 27. Ages 1st-5th grade learned the fundamentals of the sport and most importantly teamwork. Thanks to the coaches who volunteered their time to work with these youth. Photos by Charlene Smith.

TRHS KAYS
KAYS held their monthly meeting to discuss many upcoming events such as a blood drive, helping with the community egg hunt, and holding their annual Girls Rock and Boys Roll event They also made crafts for the residents of Sun Porch and Smith County Health and Rehab. This month they made a cloud and rainbow to brighten the residents’ rooms. The kids also send their smiles and greetings along with their decorations!

Ktown Kates Met
The February 8, 2021 meeting of the Ktown Kates was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
A delicious dessert was served by Donna J. and Jolinn
Eleven members answered roll call naming their favorite children’s book.
The minutes were read. A treasurer’s report was given. The reports were declared approved. An update was given about the Food Pantry.
Plans and committees were set for the Spring Tea to be held at the north Lutheran Church and sponsored by the Ktown Kates on Monday April 12, 2021 at 6:00. The theme will be “Plant Seeds of Kindness.” Ruby Weihman will present the program involving a virtual tour of her home country, South Africa.
The program for the evening was Valentine Bingo.
The March meeting will be a tour of the Kensington Locker on March 8 at 7:00 p.m. Members are to meet at the Senior Center then carpool to the Locker. The meeting will follow at the Center after the tour.
The additional workers for the March 20th (THIRD SATURDAY of the month) Food pantry will be Loretta and Joyce.
The meeting adjourned.
Mat Makers
Mat makers met last Saturday. We have met monthly for the past two years and have so much fun getting together. Covid slowed us meeting in person or a while, but the cutting and crocheting continued at home! We’ve sent 103 mats to homeless shelters and have 7 more ready to deliver!! We will meet again March 27, at St John Lutheran Church, from 9-noon. Join us if you can!

Kensington Library
Did you know that March is National Quilting Month? Visit the library during the month of March and see the lovely quilt display. Local ladies of the Prairie Treasures quilting guild and Sew Crazy ladies quilting group have provided numerous beautiful pieces. Bring your church group or carpool and enjoy the company of friends! The quilts will be up for the whole month of March.
The USD 110 Spring Break is scheduled for March 15-19. The library will be open limited hours: Monday from 2-7pm, Wednesday/Friday/Saturday from 9am-2pm.
