Alumni Banquet 

The Class of 2004 looks forward to seeing all the Kensington and Thunder Ridge alumni this Saturday, May 25. Reminder that open house at the high school is from 4-5:30pm, social hour in the American Legion hall from 5:30-6:30pm with banquet to follow. Honor Class pictures will be taken afterward.

Summer Kick-Off!

Are you ready for SUMMER?!?!  We sure are!  Join us in Kensington on June 1st as we start summer off right with a fun afternoon and evening of food and fun!  We are trying something new this year with tickets being available for purchase online.  Use this link:

Library News

The Kensington Community/School Library will be closed on Monday, May 27, in honor of Memorial Day. 

Our summer library program will begin Friday, June 7, 2024. The Pre-K to age 6 will be from 9-10:30am and 1st-5th grades from 11:00-12:00pm. Programs will be held every Friday June 7 through July 12. 


Legion Friday Night

This week at the Kensington American Legion the special will be a shrimp basket with dessert. We will have our regular menu items as well. The kitchen is open from 6-8pm.  You can call 785-476-3204 to have your order ready for pick up.  Hope to see you Friday!

Please contact Julie Craig (785-543-4108) for booking/Legion needs and Chris Barnes is the kitchen manager (785-476-8043).  They will be more than happy to help you with your Legion requests. Please feel free to contact the commander, Bob Wagner (785-476-7633).


Condolences 

Sympathy to the family of "The Bone Man" Robert "Bob" Levin. He passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at his home in Smith Center, KS at the age of 86.
