It’s VBS Week!
The kids have sure enjoyed “Wonder Junction” Kensington Community VBS this week. They were able to enjoy fellowship, marvel at Jesus, sing songs and learned how to Live for HIS Glory! A special program will be held Friday morning, 11:00am at the United Church for family and friends to attend and see what all the kids learned.
Summer Kickoff!!!
Join us in Kensington for Summer Kickoff THIS Saturday, June 7. From 3:30-6:00pm is Family Free Swim at the Kensington Pool. From 5-8pm checkout the Car Cruise; sit and watch or “drag main” with us! BBQ Parfaits will be sold inside the legion, sit and eat or head outside to enjoy as the cars go by. Starting at 8:00pm will be Trivia Mania, found in the legion hall. Register at the door for $5/person. Teams of up to 6 people allowed. Concessions will be available. Come join the fun, grab some food, test your smarts -you might even win a prize! Kensington is the place to be, Saturday, June 7th.
Get on the Garage Sales Map!
It’s time to start spring cleaning! City-wide garage sales are June 14th. Turn those treasures into moolah! Sign up to have your garage/yard sale shown on the maps that will be available for the shoppers thanks to the Commercial Club. Must sign up by June 6! United Women’s Salad Supper
Please plan to join us for a Women’s Salad Supper Wednesday evening, June 18, 2025 at 6:00 pm. Located at the United Church of Kensington. Be Restored & Commissioned is the theme. Please bring a salad and a guest if you wish.

Join us every Friday night for supper from 6-8pm. Offering the regular menu items and a Friday night special for $11.00. Please call in any to-go orders at 476-3204. Please note we will no longer be open Sunday night.
Kensington Library
Summer Reading started Tuesday, May 20. The 2025 theme is “Color Our World!” We skipped this week for kids to attend VBS and we will meet again on *Thursday, June 5th. Please note: we meet each Tuesday June 10-July 1.

NEW SWINGS! and a Roadside Park update!


Check out this brand new swing set at the roadside park in Kensington! These cute kids from Grand Island, NE were on their way to visit grandparents in Hays, KS and stopped at the park to stretch their legs and play on our new playground and swings.
