Mother’s Day
Remember your mothers this Sunday, May 10. Do something special to show your love and appreciation for them!
KAY Blood Drive Scheduled
May 26, from 9:00-3:00, will be the next local Red Cross blood drive sponsored by the Thunder Ridge KAYS. It will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Kensington.
Please consider donating as blood supplies are in high demand due to many local drives being canceled. Schedule your appointment online at redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
Please note that all donors are required to wear a mask. You may bring your own, or they will provide you with one. Thanks in advance!
KAY Scavenger Hunt Finds Flags
There were many flags flying for the KAY Scavenger Hunt this week!! Several American flats were spotted and kids had fun going around and counting them!!
This week you are to look for Longhorns posted around town. We haven’t had too many posts or comments about items found. Please remember to post what you find and tag either Kathi Boden, Robin Billings, Jaden Boden, or Raini Hrabe so we can know who’s participating. Thank you!!
May Day Fun
May 1st brought many kind gestures. Several May Day baskets were delivered to bring May cheer and show friendship!! Kids had fun sneaking around town trying not to be spotted as they hung hand-made baskets on door knobs around town. Candy, cards, donuts, and other goodies were shared by several kind hearted kids!! What a great tradition!
