KAYS Blood Drive

A big thank you to everyone who donated to the KAY blood drive last Friday! There were 26 units collected! Gigi Hoersdig was the senior KAY that helped host it. It was a big success!

At the Legion this Week!

This week at the Kensington American Legion we will feature the short horns and long horns. It's an open faced hamburger topped chili, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. The short horn is 1 patty the long horn is 2 patties. This week we will introduce the short/long horn " plus". It will have queso cheese on top of the chili. We will also be offering a cold plate which will have a chicken salad sandwich, macaroni salad, and creamy cucumbers, and dessert. Our kitchen hours are 6-8 and you can call 785-476-3204 to have your order ready for pick up. If you are still in the harvest fields, we can help you with supper and have everything ready for your crew. Hope to see you Friday evening!

Wreaths Across America Event

The public is invited to have lunch with us at the Kensington American Legion on Saturday. Wreaths Across America will be hosting a bike/car run and Kim will have lunch at the legion of walking tacos, chips and queso, and dessert. It's a free will donation. The public is also invited to participate in the raffles that we have. There's everything from a bird feeding basket to fishing, children's play, games, and adult beverages. Breakfast at 8:30am and lunch at 11. Please join us in a fun day!

Condolences

Sympathies and prayers for the family and friends of Zach Lamont, age 36, of Claudell/Cedar, Kansas. Zach was the son of Curtis and Missy Lamont.

Prayers for the Faun Bolton family on her passing.
