Championship Swim Results

We had a great, but hot day at our Plains tSunami swim league championships in Oxford, NE Saturday, July 16. Medals will be going to Aadyn Blank 5th in 200 yard freestyle, KensLy Blank 4th in 200 free, Adam Abbott 5th in the 25 butterfly, Noah Nelson 5th in 25 breaststroke, Lexi Rust 7th in 200 free, Zoey Hadley 7th in individual medley. The freestyle relay team had a last minute substitution of Adam Abbott for Aadyn Blank who took ill. The relay team that then consisted of Adam, KensLy, Hannah Nelson, and Lexi Rust took 4th place.

“I am so proud of these kids and all of those who swam on our team this summer,” Anne Abbott- Head Coach.

Please Pick Up Your Meat

Attention please! Fair season is well underway and Kensington Lockers is in need of FREEZER space. If you have meat in our freezer, make arrangements to get it picked up ASAP to avoid fees. Thanks for your cooperation!


Annual Library Ice Cream Social

The Kensington community library board will again host our annual ice cream social event on Monday evening, August 1, 2022 from 6-7pm. Used and deleted books will be available also. Free will donations will go to support the library‘s projects fund.


Friday Night @ the Legion

This week at the Kensington American Legion we will have a special of Big Mac Sloppy Joes, potato salad, cucumber & tomato salad, and dessert. We will have our regular menu items as well and our kitchen hours are 6-8pm. You can also call us at 785-476-3204 for your order to be ready for pick up. Hope to see you Friday evening!

Next week, July 29, we will be having our all you can eat Fish Fry Night.
