KAYS Blood Drive this Friday!

There are a few spots left to donate at our KAY blood drive on Friday, July 7. Call or message Robin Billings to make an appointment. The drive will be held at the St. John Lutheran Church Parish Hall (north church) from 9am-3pm.

American Legion

This week at the Kensington American Legion we will have our chicken fried steak meal as our special which will come with a dessert. Our kitchen hours are 6-8pm and you can call 785-476-3204 to have your order ready for pick up. Hope everyone had a good 4th of July! See you Friday night.

Just a reminder that July 15th Wreaths Across America will be hosting a motorcycle/car fun run at the Kensington American Legion. Kim will be serving lunch for a free will donation and there will be lots of silent auction and raffle drawings to participate in to help the fundraiser. Please be watching for more details.

New Awning at the Center

Thanks to the grants awarded from the Smith County Community Foundation and Nex-Tech as well as facility rentals the Kensington Community/Senior Center was able to install a 6-foot awning above the entry door. It is a great addition to the center and has received many positive comments since its installation.

Kensington Library

The summer hours include: Mondays from 2-7pm, Tuesday/Thursdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm, Wednesday/Fridays from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and open Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

We appreciate Post Rock Extension for providing the Club incrEDIBLES series for ages 3rd-8th this summer. We had lots of fun learning about healthy diet choices and tasting new things. Thank you Kelli, Allison, Rachelle and Elaine for the fun and educational programs.
