It was a great day at Qualifiers in Alma, NE this past Saturday, June 10. Members of the Kensington Stingray swim team earned their spots and will be swimming in the Championship meet this Saturday, July 17 in McCook, NE. Four swimmers competed at qualifiers. Lexi Rust (200 free style) and Aadyn Blank (50 free style) placed 2nd at qualifying, which automatically sends them to the championship meet. KensLy Blank and Zoey Hadley were to find out Monday if they move on to championships based on their times. “They all made a strong showing at qualifying having many personal bests. This was a great season for all 14 of our swimmers and I am very proud of all of the hard work they put in,” says coach Anne Abbott. Best of luck at Championships swimmers!
