Lions Club Works with Smith Co. Foundation
Kensington's Lions Club received a grant for $600 from the Smith County Community Foundation to be given away to a local non-profit. The club combined those dollars with $300 of their own money to donate $900 to the Kensington Food Pantry. This grant was perfectly timed since the local food pantry has been serving almost double the families the past few months due to the pandemic. Families are able to receive donated food or gift cer

No Cemetery Ceremonies Well, like the rest of the country that seems to have things changing every day, we here at the Legion have more changes also. Per our Commander and his advisers: there will be NO ceremonies this year at any of the cemeteries that the Kensington Legion normally does. Rusty Tractor Dining The dining room at the Rusty Tractor will be open starting Monday, May 11, with limited seating to allow for social distancing. Operating Hours for Rusty Tractor: Monday - 11am-2pm; Tuesday - 11am-8pm; Wednesday - 11am-8pm; Thursday - 11am-8pm; Friday - 11am-9pm; Saturday 11am-9pm. At this time we will not be taking reservations due to limited seating. We are hoping to see everyone but remember to be safe and if you are not feeling well please stay home
