Celebrating the Biggest Little Town of it’s Size!

Let’s party like it’s 1776! Mark your Calendars and COME! Join us in Kensington for an Old Fashioned Saturday Night on August 15, 2026.  The theme this year is “Party in the USA.” 

Activities begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday with Pasture Golf. Contact Jeff at 785-476-5185 to register. 9:30 to 11:30 AM is the "Uncle Sam Sweet Sparkler Cookie Decorating Class" with Pink Peony Bake Shoppe in the American Legion Hall. It is $35 to join and you must Pre-Register Online. Limited Spots Available!

Food booths include: Taco Riendo (lunch & evening), RC Rub Grub - BBQ, Hunter Family Food Stand, Lion's Club Hamburgers, Buck's Snow Shack, Triple C Lemonade, Snowy Peaks & Cozy Eats.  ACTIVITY/Vendor booths: Nex Tech Train - FREE, Face Painting - FREE, Football Dunk Tank, Scouts - Beef Sticks, TRMS Cheer - Dirty Sodas,

United Church - Homemade Ice Cream & Dime Toss.

Kensington Library Summer Reading Finale!

Bring the kids and join us for a musical performance from Thad Beach. Sing, stomp, rumble and ROAR! You’re in store for a prehistoric sound adventure this Thursday afternoon, July 23, at 2:00pm! The whole family is welcome to attend!

The Kensington Community Farmers Market is located in the Kensington Community/School Library parking lot, this Saturday JULY 25, from 8A-12P.

Thunder Ridge Enrollment Dates

Online enrollment opens JULY 27. Enroll online at: https://thunderridge.powerschool.com/public

Sign in using your parent account from last year. Register using the forms button. Review every form and click submit to update for the new year.

HIGH SCHOOL (9-12): Students must attend in person on the assigned days to complete your class schedules. Fees can be paid at this time.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (4-8): Complete enrollment online. Fees may be paid anytime beginning July 27th or mailed to: TRMS PO Box 209 Agra, KS 67621.

ELEMENTARY (1st-3rd): Enroll online. Fees may be paid anytime beginning July 27th or mailed to TRES PO Box 188 Kensington, KS 66951. *Kindergarten: Parents come to the Elementary office on July 30th (new students). Info will then be provided for the online portion.

Finish Enrollment in person: WED, JULY 29 from 9AM - 3PM for Pre-K, K-8, 11th & 12th; THUR, JULY 30 from 9AM - 3PM for 9th & 10th. District Fees can be paid at any building. Make checks payable to USD 110. Lunch fees must be paid by a separate check from any District Fees, please and thank you. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ OVER OUR HANDBOOK.

Starting SATURDAY, AUGUST 22, we will be serving on Saturday night instead of Fridays. SAME TIME: 6:00PM - 8:00 PM. Same menu plus Weekly Specials & Chris’ specialty burgers! * MARK YOUR CALENDAR! Kensington resident, Barbra Rader, passed away at the Smith Center Health and Rehab, Smith Center, KS, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 84.
