TR Homecoming Week Festivities
Thunder Ridge Homecoming is this week! Our TR Cheerleaders and Sapphire Dancers have painted and decorated the windows around town. The Spirit Week Dress-up schedule consisted of: Monday- Hat/Camo Day, Tuesday- Twin/Outta this Planet Day, Wednesday- Beach/Tacky Tourist Day, Thursday- Decade/Dress Like a Baby Day, Friday- School Spirit/Blue & Silver Day.
Thursday night, Sept 23, at 8:00pm will be the traditional Bonfire/pep rally hosted by the cheerleaders and Student Council will provide games. Friday afternoon, Sept 24, the middle school students will be used over to Kensington to attend the all school Pep Rally and Homecoming Parade on Main Street starting at 2:30pm. The community is also welcome to attend. Following the pep rally everyone will head over to the football field for a fun game of Powderpuff Football organized by the KAYS.
The Crowning Ceremony will be held at 6:30pm prior to the home football game vs Lakeside Friday night, Sept 24. The 2021 Homecoming Candidates are: Olin Brown, Daxton Dunlap, and Paul Ferguson, Mariana Escobar, Susana Jovel, and Saige Kirchhoff.
Junior Class Tailgate
Friday evening, September 24, the Thunder Ridge Class of 2023 will hold a tailgate before the home football game against Lakeside. They will begin serving food at 5:30pm and accepting FREE WILL donations to benefit the Thunder Ridge Junior Class. Come support this class as they raise money for prom!

Fri. 24- HS ONLY 10am late start; 2:30pm Homecoming Parade/Pep Rally on Main Street (ALL schools); 6:30pm Crowning Ceremony at the football field; 7pm HS FB @ Home vs Lakeside; Homecoming Dance to follow the game
Sat. 25- 9am HS JV VB Tournament @ Hill City; 11am 7-12 Band to march in Smith Center Old Settlers Day Parade (lv from HS @ 9:55am)

Join the Club!
The Busy Bees 4-H Club would like to invite you to our Fall Party & Membership Drive.
When: Sunday, Sep 26, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm.
Where: Roadside Park on HWY 36 in Kensington
Come meet & greet our 4-H families and find out what 4-H is all about! We will be serving a light supper of hotdogs, sides, and s’mores. The 4-H members will have projects for show & tell. We hope you will join us and consider joining our club.
Kensington Commodities
Reminder that commodities will be delivered on the last Monday of the month. Commodities will be distributed in Kensington at the Senior Center from 4-5pm on Monday the 27th. Any questions please call Mike Isom at 476-5583.
