Kensington Lockers

Our lobby will continue to be open. If you feel comfortable in doing so, you’re welcome to come inside (with or without a mask.) If you prefer carry out, please let us know in advance and we will get your order ready for you. Call 785-476-2834. As always, if you aren’t feeling well, we ask you to stay home. Oh yeah, and wash your hands! 

Kensington Library

We are open to the public and still following certain guidelines for the safety of our patrons and staff. We do not require a mask for you to enter, but we do recommend them and have some available for use. If you do not feel comfortable coming in, give us a call at 785-476-2219 and we will be happy to bring your requests out to your car. TRHS KAYS to Host Blood Drive

Sign up is open for the next blood drive scheduled on July 23rd!  Details: call Kathi Boden at 785-282-0387 to schedule your appointment between 9:00am and 3:00pm Thursday, July 23 at the St. John Lutheran Church Parish Hall, 708 N Main St. You can also email Kathi at or visit

Through September, the Red Cross will be testing all donations for COVID-19 antibodies. Donors will be notified within 7-10 days.

Last Call for School Physicals

July is the last month to get in for a FREE school/sports physical. Call Smith County Family Practice to schedule an appointment for your student. This is for students at Smith Center and Thunder Ridge schools. Free physicals will only be available until July 31. Call the Clinic at 785-282-6934 today.

City Council Meeting

The next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 13th at 5:00pm. Please call the City Office if you would like to attend so you can be added to the agenda and we can plan accordingly. 785-476-2668.
